Iranian Forces State Attack on US Base in Bahrain, During Widespread Military Operations.
Tehran reports attacking a American military facility in Manama, as Iran launched operations across the region in retaliation for a significant and continuing assault targeting the nation by the United States and Israeli forces.
Large columns of dark smoke were observed billowing from an vicinity near the command center of the US Navy's Fifth Fleet in Bahrain's capital, Manama. The full scale of any impact is unclear and the American officials has not commented.
Airspace Engagements
Elsewhere across the region, the United Arab Emirates, the State of Qatar and the State of Kuwait - each hosting US military bases - said they have engaged and destroyed missiles in their air space.
In Doha, Qatar's defence ministry stated it had successfully engaged several missiles seemingly aimed at the Al Udeid Air Base, the biggest US military installation in the region.
Iran's Declared Retaliation
Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said in a statement it was attacking US bases and assets as part of military campaign "Truthful Promise 4", in response for the attack on the Islamic Republic carried out by the US and Israel on Saturday morning.
That initial attack - executed at approximately 09:15 Iran time - has so far targeted areas associated with the Tehran's leadership, with US President Donald Trump calling on the people of Iran to rise up against the regime.

In the State of Israel, sirens were heard nationwide after the Israel Defense Forces reported it had identified an barrage of missiles from Iran.
The Ministry of Defence of the UAE said in a statement that the nation has been subjected to a "a blatant attack involving Iranian ballistic missiles".
"UAE air defence systems responded to the missiles with high efficiency and destroyed a number of missiles," it added.
It said wreckage landed in a populated district in the capital, causing some property damage and killing a civilian.
The US Air Force operates from Al Dhafra Air Base, south of the Emirati capital, along with the UAE Air Force.
