Your Ideal Pokémon Legends: Z-A Mega Evolution Based on Your Zodiac Sign
This return of Super Forms in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has sparked immense excitement within the fandom. From the gradual unveiling of newcomers before the title's release, to trainers forming firm views on the entire lineup of Mega Evolutions, there's a lot for fans to anticipate.
Given many of the Super Forms boasting distinctive appearances that emphasize their traits, one idea came to mind: What's the best way to link this with astrology? The following is based on a mix of vibes, common zodiac traits, and individual observations.
The Ram – Super Camerupt
Honestly, Houndoom was nearly selected for this fire sign, as they are the Mega Pokémon and astrological sign that evoke the most fear. But, a Super Houndoom appears as always angry, which isn't typical of the Aries vibe, known for being fun, cheerful, and spontaneous. That's why Aries far more similar to Mega Camerupt, which only erupts when provoked. Stay on the friendly side of either and enjoy a strong ally; should you offend them, be ready to get burned.
The Bull – Mega Heracross
Similar to a devoted Taurus, the steadfast Heracross, both in its standard and Super Form, has assisted many players in Legends: Z-A. While trustworthy, both the creature and a Bull are also Fighting types, and – whether it's their trainer or a firm belief – will defend their side unwaveringly. The thing about Mega Heracross that recalls most of my Bull-sign companions, however, is its unashamed passion for treats. Several previous official descriptions note their fondness for tasty sap and how it uses its horn to collect it everything, which is true Bull-sign vibe.
The Twins – Mega Medicham
Observe this total queen. It's impossible to convince me this Pokémon is not the life of any gathering, providing an endless fountain of chatter to those who wants to listen. Just like an captivating, sociable Twins, it's incredibly simple to envision Mega Medicham mesmerizing an whole open area with their stories. This Pokémon's Pokédex entry also mentions its ability to predict an enemy’s next moves, which sounds quite like a people-smart Twins.
The Crab – Super Manectric
The Crab is commonly regarded as the most sensitive sign of the astrological wheel, a passionate symbol known for often getting wrapped up in their feelings. Per the official info, Mega Evolution fills the creature with a “tremendous amount of energy, but it's too much for Manectric to fully control,” which seems a lot like a typical Cancer emotional outburst. This Pokémon is also known for its ability to create a thundercloud over its own head – and if there’s one thing a Crab is likely to do, it’s rain on their own parade.
Leo – Mega Starmie
Well, did you assume I was planning to select the lion Pokémon for the lion of the stars? Besides the fact that it would be far too on the nose, The Lion is obviously Super Starmie, the star whose legs just went viral for being extremely glamorous (or terrifying, depending on your taste). Players were captivated from the purple sea star, and that’s precisely the same vibe a Lion offers to the scene. This Pokémon is also said to be broadcasting radio waves from its center out into space, and it’s typical of a Leo to be staging a performance, albeit for aliens.
Virgo – Mega Victreebel
The always-ready and constantly-worried Maiden is perfectly encapsulated in Mega Victreebel, the Mega with constant digestive issues. The zodiac symbol famous for being charmingly critical is strongly reflected across this creature's whole lineage, from a perpetually shocked face like a Maiden when you inform them you don’t have a 401(k), to its upside-down face that’s just like the symbol a Virgo posts to the group chat when all says they want to “go with the flow” rather than making a strategy.
The Scales – Mega Audino
Look at this sweet, empathetic creature, who uses the sensors on its auditory organs to detect how others are feeling by their heartbeat. Consistently compassionate – occasionally to a detriment – and striving to maintain the peace, there are numerous Scales who would probably benefit from Mega Audino’s abilities. Though, to be frank, it would likely just make them stress even more about everyone else.
The Scorpion – Mega Banette
This Ghost-type is a creature with a surprisingly sad backstory: Abandoned as a doll, it became sentient through pure resentment and swore revenge on its former owner. Per the official info, Super Evolution, “enhances its spitefulness.” That seems exactly like many conversations I’ve had with my scary Scorpion acquaintances. A Scorpio adores cosmic justice and retribution, making them the ideal match with Super Banette.
The Archer – Super Hawlucha
Each Mega Hawlucha and Archers are always staging a show. Being a Sagittarius myself, the number of occasions I’ve called myself some variation of a “silly little jester” is countless. The showiest and most attention-seeking Mega Evolution, its Pokédex entry even notes how it “flexes to show off its power.” I would do the exact same thing if I had a Mega evolved form, making Mega Hawlucha the most fitting Archer counterpart I can imagine.
The Goat – Mega Absol
Were you aware that a Super Absol has the power to predict calamities in advance? That gives the identical energy as a Goat, who tends to always think they’re right. The thing is, much like a prophetic Mega Absol, they often are. It’s also the absolute initial Mega Evolution that players encounter in Legends: Z-A – typical of a Capricorn to get in on the ground floor of the Super Form craze.
Aquarius – Mega Chandelure
Detached air sign Water Bearer is arguably the non-fire placement that is most like a flame symbol – its counterpart is the Lion, and there are numerous jokes about the Archer and Aquarius being chaotic accomplices. Mega Chandelure’s double Ghost/Fire category fits perfectly with this, and the Super Form's overall daunting presence is also extremely Aquarius. If you weren’t already persuaded, the Super Form's Pokédex entry says it “absorbs hatred and converts it into strength.” If that fails to exactly {encaps
